Hillen Creek Learning was created by former homeschool students who have gone on to have successful academic and professional careers and eventually became home educators themselves. We know homeschooling from the early days of learning, to applying our learning in college and university, to teaching young ones ourselves.

We believe that children are much smarter than people give them credit for. We saw a gap in offerings that were both academically rigorous to prepare kids for the competitive world they are entering, yet also grounded enough in childhood’s beauty to let them be kids. It seems many materials go one way or the other but don’t find this balance.
